Superintendent’s Corner
With the continuing draught conditions, we have been forced to really ration our water use. Our ponds are extremely low. Let’s pray for some much-needed rain to recharge our ponds and course. To help out, please avoid driving carts through wilting and dry turf areas. Also please do not bring pull carts on tees, collars, or greens. Every little thing helps.
Also, some of you have been concerned about the wasp in and around some of our bunkers. They are mostly sand wasps and cicada wasps. They are not aggressive at all. They aren’t interested in harming humans. In all my years doing this, I have never seen or heard anyone being stung from either of these two insects.
