Darin Chin-Aleong, PGA
Darin Chin-Aleong joined Rowley Country Club from Wentworth by the Sea Country Club as General Manager / Director of Golf. He began his golf career in 1999 at English Turn Golf and Country Club down in New Orleans, Louisiana. After relocating to Massachusetts, Darin worked at Haven Country Club in Boylston, MA and served as the PGA Head Golf Professional at Wenham Country Club from 2006 to 2014. Darin lives in Hamilton with his wife, Trina, and two sons Tyler, 15 and Jack, 13.
Brent Balderston, PGA
Brent Balderston joined Rowley Country Club from Winthrop Golf Club as Head Golf Professional. Originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada; he started his career working at and playing golf courses north of the border. More recently he has been a welcomed part of the staff at Wenham Country Club as well as Winthrop Golf Club before joining the professional staff at Rowley Country Club. Brent is always there to answer questions, assist in your game, or develop your game further. He currently resides in East Boston with his wife, Megan and his son, Benny.
Zack Lamkin, Golf Course Superintendent
Zack was born in Maryland and grew up in Middleton Massachusetts. It was clear at a young age that his main passion in life was going to revolve around sports. He focused mainly on football and baseball through his childhood, but being from Middleton, he spent many afternoons testing the limits of the old par 3 course down the road from his house.
Zack eventually went on to play baseball at Eastern Connecticut State University but his love for golf never left. In 2008 he found his passion for golf collide with the turf management side of the industry when he began working at Myopia Hunt Club in South Hamilton Massachusetts. What started as an Avenue for free golf became the beginning of a career. Zack spent close to 6 years learning and understanding the intricate world of turf management. In 2014 he came to Rowley Country Club and it’s been his home away from home since then. He vows to maintain the great course conditions former Superintendent Bill Godek worked tirelessly to achieve while bringing a passion and excitement that is unmatched. His love for his work mixed with his knowledge has Rowley Country Club pointing up.
When he’s not at Rowley Country Club, Zack lives in Ipswich with his beautiful wife Aiyanna and two sons, Jacob and Baker. Outside of being a father and taking care of the golf course, Zack has been coaching Varsity Baseball and Football at Ipswich High School since 2016.
