A challenging opening hole that requires an accurate tee shot, favoring the left side of the fairway, but short of the pond. The pond is approximately 230 to 270 yards depending on the tee selected.

Quick Tip

Positioning your tee shot close to the pond will enable you to take advantage of a flat area from which to hit your approach shot over water to an elevated green. Those missing left could invite trouble from one of two bunkers that guard the green. The green slopes back to front so it’s best to keep your ball below the hole.

Hole #2 is a terrific par 3 that ranges in length from 143 yards from the forward tees to over 200 yards from the back tees. A demanding tee shot straight uphill; twin bunkers frame the hole short of the green some 20 yards.

It’s best to favor short as over the green is trouble. The green is fairly flat offering a fair chance for a one putt.

The dog leg right third hole is the most difficult hole on the golf course. Tee shots placed to the right will shorten the hole but put you at risk of catching a tree on your approach while a safer tee shot to the left will lengthen the hole considerably. A miss hit or short drive and the conservative play is a short shot to the corner.

Quick Tip

Once around the corner, another challenging shot awaits with a large pond protecting the right side of the green. Those who wish to avoid the pond can again the safer route with a shot to a strip of fairway to the left of the pond.

Hole #4 is a gentle dog leg to the right. A pond comes into play 260 from the back tee so favor the left side of the fairway. Long hitters will challenge this par 5 in two shots. A three shot hole for the rest, favor the left side off the tee as the fairway slopes to the right.

Quick Tip

Players can utilize the downward sloping fairway starting about 100 yards out from the hole to get as close as possible to this large green. Mounding in front of the green provides an excellent short game test.

Players are faced with a blind tee shot on this uphill dog leg left. While straightforward, the hole can be challenging with its elevated green and bunkers to the left and right.

Quick Tip

Fairway between the bunkers allows a player to run the ball onto the green, just don’t be long with your approach. The 5th offers your best chance for birdie since the 1st hole.Description goes here

The downhill 6th again provides another birdie opportunity, especially for the long hitters. The most advantageous position from which to attack the green is from slightly left center of the fairway.

After favoring the left side of the fairway off the tee, it’s best to play to the right side of the green for your approach.

The 7th hole was recently shortened, taking an overly difficult 200 plus yard hole to a modest length par 3 hole that still provides a stern yet fair test over water.

The forward tees are situated across the pond and play to 140 yards.

The 8th hole was also recently shortened from a par 5 to a par 4 and now allows the golfer to hit driver from tee and carry the hazard. Favor the left side of the fairway off the tee as the right side slopes to the pond.

Quick Tip

Once over the water the approach is to an elevated green with bunkers right and left. A relatively flat putting surface will give players an opportunity to finish the hole strong.

Hole number 9 is a straightaway par 4 with plenty of room off the tee. Those who hit the fairway will be faced with the challenge of gauging proper yardage to this two tiered green. A great finishing hole as birdie is not out of the question.
